Map-a-Route dynamic routing software enables users to quickly create detailed routes at the touch of a button. The software can be used for any vehicle requiring complex mapping: including gritting, gully emptying, refuse collection, and waste & recycling vehicles. Accessed through an online portal, users can manage their entire fleet, and instantly edit routes to account for real-time changes such as road closures, weather conditions or diversions.
The software is powered by the latest cloud technology and utilises the newly released OS Mastermap Highways Network mapping data, which details attributes such as ‘class of road’, ‘road width’, and ‘typography values’, as well as containing information on current and future road developments.
Map-a-Route provides a full audit trail of new and amended routes which are viewed via an online report. All tracked data is held in the system for 21 years, eliminating the need for paper records.
